Welcome to the Interactive Language Learning site! The materials and resouces on this site are for those librarians who wish to create an adult Spanish language learning group at their libraries (for patrons and/or staff). Hopefully, this website will serve as a resource to both those librarians and the adult learners themselves.
Here one can learn how to use the online language learning tool Livemocha, with descriptions and screenshots. This tool is free, allows you to learn languages at your own pace, and also to interact with others around the globe. You can submit your own written and spoken work to be reviewed by native speakers of that langauge, and can review the work of others who are learning yours!
In addition to Livemocha, this site will provide a list of related resources and Web 2.0 tools to enhance one's Spanish language learning experience, as well as ideas for incorporating all of this into a library setting. Please visit the links to the left to find information about Livemocha, related resources, Web 2.0 tools, and learning and promotion ideas.
